While the pageant had been put on the back burner due to Covid then the foreshore redevelopment , it is always a popular and much looked forward to event for both locals and holiday makers alike.

2023 saw it back  in all its glory and the event  at the end of the parade provides entertainment  stalls  fun and games and fireworks to finish the night.

Our floats keep the name of Lions front and centre and there were many people who appreciated the lollies. especially the dentists.

We are also normally on the foreshore cooking up pancakes or  Bbq's
