Who We Are
Lions are men and women dedicated to serving those in need, whether in their own community or around the world. Membership provides an opportunity to meet and work with other individuals in a spirit of fellowship, striving toward a common goal of helping those in need.
Club Events
Our Lions Club is always busy running and/or participating in many projects, activities and events to help our local community, raise funds and have fun. Check our Events Page for more information about upcoming meetings, BBQs, projects and more.
Meetings
Members meet twice each month at the Yankalilla Golf Club in Yankalilla. We have a dinner meeting on the first Monday of each month, and a work meeting that is held on the third Monday of each month. We also have great guest speakers at our dinner meeting.
Become a Lion
As a member you become part of a close knit group of like minded citizens who enjoy fellowship and have opportunities to make friends all over the country, and gain the satisfaction of assisting the needy locally , nationally and internationally that could not be achieved as an individual.
Our Committees
1st VP Committee
Community Service

The 1st VP Committee is tasked to assist with local projects with in the district such as cleaning up gardens of people who need asistance, beautifing the School entrance Gardens , working bees and generally anything that will improve the outlook of the district and its residents.
2nd VP Committee
Fundraising

Fundraising is vital to the survival of the club and provides the funds to assist people in need. This committtee needs to continually come up with ideas to raise the much needed dollars. Many of these are tried and proven but we must continually inovate to keep the funds comming in.
As a true service club 100% of our fundraising dollars goes to our nominated beneficiaries
3rd VP Committee
Finance / Adminstration
3VP manages the finances of the club and provides the legal and administrative arm of the club and maintains the links to the Australlian and international Lions organizations.It also allocates the funds to the different charities and organizations throughout the year both locally and further afield
